A New Beginning & Exciting Updates at MVCTC

mvctc

As we stand at the threshold of a new school year, it’s not just the beginning we’re celebrating but also the end of an incredible five-year journey. The extensive remodeling project at 6800 Hoke Road in Englewood is nearing completion, and we are thrilled about what lies ahead. By the end of this school year, we anticipate the final moves into permanent homes for some of our most community-frequented programs: Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, and Early Childhood Education. We eagerly await the opportunity to welcome the community back to these exceptional programs.

But that’s not all. This year has started with introducing three new career-technical programs on our campus: Drones & GIS Technologies, Pre-Engineering, and Pre-Law & Legal Studies. Additionally, we have expanded our reach with six new satellite locations in partner school districts, making our quality education even more accessible.

We are excited to share many stories and achievements in this edition of our District Newsletter. Highlights include national recognition for our Veterinary Science students, a generous donation to our Firefighter/EMS program by the Village of Lewisburg, and the introduction of new job shadowing opportunities for our Health Occupations students. As always, we will inform you about important upcoming events and celebrate our students’ successes.

Please take the time to read and enjoy all that is happening at your career-technical center. Together, we are shaping the future and preparing our students for success in a rapidly evolving world. Thank you for your continued support of the Miami Valley Career Technology Center.
